Each of us has been profoundly impacted by the mental health struggles of individuals around us, thus instilling a deep, personal commitment to the mission.  We bring a diverse array of talents and expertise to Jam Across Georgia, making our team uniquely equipped to address the multifaceted nature of mental health through activities that nurture our mental capacities. Together, we will harness these strengths to develop and implement compassionate, comprehensive strategies that support and uplift our community, ensuring a healthier, more resilient future for all.

Patrice Peters

Founder & President

Patrice Peters is a community health worker, health coach, and lifelong health equity advocate based in Atlanta, Georgia, with 20+ years of experience advancing population health and empowering communities. A dynamic fitness instructor, she believes movement is for everyone and promotes accessible, inclusive wellness that meets people where they are. She serves as a health coach with the Atlanta Regional Commission and as a community health worker with Emory Healthcare, focusing on chronic disease prevention and improving health outcomes for underserved populations. Patrice is Co-Chair of the Live Healthy DeKalb Coalition and founder of Whine Walk Run 5K & International Food Festival and Jam Across Georgia, a nonprofit promoting healing through movement and holistic health education. She is driven by collaboration, service, and building healthier communities for future generations.

Kelly Vincent

Kelly Vincent is a professional event planner, accomplished project manager and enthusiastic team building executive who credits much of her success to supporting others towards building an active and sustainable work/life balance. A native of California, embodying a healthy lifestyle was a cornerstone of her upbringing and remains a focus in everyday life. Kelly holds a BA from University of California Santa Barbara, AA from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Certificates in Nutrition Studies and is currently pursuing the CMT designation from Events Industry Council.

Dr. Corrine Williams

Board Member

Dr. Corrine Williams is a high school science teacher, course developer and oversees gifted services at Gwinnett Online Campus. She is also very involved in community organizations and groups. Her community interests focus on connecting parents and children with environmental awareness and sustainability. Dr. Williams holds a B.S. in Zoology, M.S. in Science Education and Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Mercer University.

DeLisa M. Gray

Board Member

    DeLisa M. Gray is an Actuary/Data Analyst during the day but involved in all things dance, fitness, and health otherwise. As a certified REB3L and MixxedFit instructor, DeLisa teaches dance fitness and strength classes at several dance studios around Atlanta is also a competitive pro figure bodybuilder. DeLisa earned her Bachelors in Mathematical Sciences with Minors in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Kentucky. She is a Certified NASM Group Fitness Instructor and Certified NASM Nutrition Coach, and is studying towards a NASM Personal Trainer Certification.

    Emily Bazinet

    Board Member

      Emily Bazinet is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Affairs and Political Science. She has experience in account management and business development for professional services firms including law and consulting. Most recently, she has spent time volunteering while working inside the home as a stay-at-home parent. Ms. Bazinet has served as a board member of the High Point Civic Association and in leadership positions of the High Point Elementary and Ridgeview Middle School parent teacher organizations. In addition, she has acted as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Fulton County foster children. She is also a member of the Young Men’s Service League in which mothers and sons volunteer regularly in the local community. She enjoys all forms of physical fitness and is a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Ms. Bazinet is working with a team to introduce jiu jitsu to the African island of Zanzibar and incorporate physical fitness and nutrition education within government schools in that country.

      Sarah Barlow

      Vice President

        Sarah Barlow is a natural resources professional, currently serving as the Deputy Department Director for Gwinnett Parks and Recreation. She is passionate about connecting people to greenspaces for their physical and mental wellbeing. She is prioritizing outdoor recreation activities and volunteerism all around Gwinnett, actively creating belonging and safe spaces throughout the park system. She has a B.S. in Wildlife Management from UW-Stevens Point and an M.S. in Wildlife Biology from LSU. She has been involved in local, state, and federal government work for over 20 years.

        Michael Hutson

        Board Member

          Michael Hutson graduated from American InterContinental University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Science. He has eleven years of work experience in Public Health including WIC customer relations, the Office of HIV/AIDS, and as the Program Coordinator for DeKalb Public Health. Mr. Hutson is experienced in creating, establishing, and maintaining community-based partnerships that enhance community health.

          Shannon Dalton

          Board Member

            Shannon Dalton is passionate about encouraging her local community to embody wellness practices in daily life. Shannon curates impactful strength and dance fitness programs by using an all-inclusive approach to coach all individuals, regardless of fitness level. Shannon Dalton holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of South Florida, ACE Group Fitness and Functional Fitness Specialist Certifications and working towards an ACE Personal Trainer Certificate

            Dr. Tonia Ruddock

            Board Member

              Dr. Tonia Ruddock is an epidemiologist specializing in maternal and child health, data analytics, and public health surveillance. She leverages data-driven insights to inform policies and enhance programs that support families—the cornerstone of thriving communities. Embracing a holistic wellness philosophy, she recognizes the connection between mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Drawing on the strength and resilience rooted in her Jamaican heritage, Dr. Ruddock honors the memory of a family member lost to a mental health condition by leveraging her expertise to champion mental health and promote wellness.
